UKCP powder solutions are dry additives and compounds for precast concrete, bagged products, screeds, dry mix mortars and concrete repair. Powder formats suit manufacturers who build additives into their products, and site teams who want simple, pre-measured dosing.
What is in the powder solutions range?
- Concrete and precast: UKCP Rapid Set, a rapid set, high early strength additive and GGBS activator, and Xpress, an early strength activator for high GGBS precast.
- Postmix and grout: Accelerator A and Accelerator PMA, rapid set accelerators for Postmix, and Grout Aid for shrinkage compensated pourable grouts.
- Screed admixture: PSA, supplied in 200g water soluble sachets for traditional sand and cement screeds.
- Concrete repair: FASTSET 1, FASTSET 30, FASTSET FS120 and FASTSET R4 (30), polymer modified, cementitious repair compounds.
- Mortar admixtures: Powder AEA, an air entraining admixture, and Powder Water Retainer, a water retaining additive for dry mix mortars.

Why choose a powder format?
Powders can be blended with the sand, cement and fillers during manufacture, so the end user only adds water. That gives consistent performance from bag to bag. On site, pre-measured formats such as PSA sachets remove the need to measure, reducing dosing errors.
If you mix on site with liquid dosing equipment, our liquid solutions may suit you better.
Bespoke powder blends
UKCP offers a wide range of additives, including powder air entrainers, rapid set accelerators, retarders, water repellents and blends to suit customer needs. Our in-house development team uses the raw materials from your own production site to create additive and admixture packages.
Instead of sourcing several small addition materials from different suppliers, you receive a single bespoke "black box" additive, blended and supplied in paper sacks or bulk bags, ready to mix with the sand, cement and fillers you already use.
