How does the sample process work?

Samples let you check how a UKCP product performs with your own materials before you commit to an order. This is how a request works.

  1. Choose your product

    Select the product you would like to trial. If you are not sure which one suits your application, our technical support team can help you decide.

  2. Tell us about your project

    Describe the application, the mix or substrate and how you plan to use the sample. The more detail you give, the more useful our advice can be.

  3. We review your request

    Our team checks that the product is right for your application and may call you to discuss the trial before anything is sent.

  4. We confirm the details with you

    We contact you directly to confirm availability, quantity and delivery arrangements for your sample.

  5. Trial it on your own materials

    Test the sample with your own raw materials and site conditions, following the product datasheet. We are happy to talk through your results.

Can I request a sample of any UKCP product?
You can ask for a sample of any product in our current range, including our screed admixtures, mortar admixtures and concrete repair products. Choose the product from the list on this page and tell us how you plan to use it, and our team will confirm what is available for your trial.

Is there a charge for samples?
Every request is reviewed individually. Our team will confirm the details of your sample, including any costs, with you before anything is sent.

How long will my sample take to arrive?
We confirm availability and delivery arrangements when we contact you about your request. If you are working to a deadline, mention it in your project details.

Can I trial a bespoke additive blend?
Yes. UKCP develops bespoke "black box" additives in powder or liquid form using the raw materials from your own production site. Contact us about bespoke formulation to discuss a trial blend.

What should I do before trialling a sample?
Read the product datasheet, trial the product on a small area or batch first and use the same raw materials and conditions you will use on the full job. This gives you results you can rely on.
